The first time I heard this quote, I thought it was a really funny joke: “Life is like a sewer. What you get out of it depends on what you put into it.” Only later in my life, I realized that it’s not a joke.
This is absolutely true. If you are filled with joy, happiness, love, and kindness – you will be surrounded by these emotions in your life. On the other hand, if you are bitter, angry, and frustrated – you will get plenty in life to be bitter, angry, and frustrated about. And it’s not quick and easy to change how you were operating most of your life, but it’s absolutely doable. How do I know? I have done it! I went from one extreme to another. 🙂
Therefore, I suggest that you audit your daily emotions, and figure out where you spend most of your time: being miserable or being happy. And if you realize you are not where you want to be – change it.
And if you need assistance with this – I am here for you! No matter how long you have traveled in the wrong direction, you can always turn around.
