Today I wanted to share a few incredible habits that each and every one of you will benefit from, the same day you will implement them.
The first phenomenal habit you should make a part of your daily routine is Gratitude. I suggest adding it to your morning rituals. It can be as long as you want it and as little as 3 minutes. The easiest way to start feeling grateful is to ask yourself the following questions:
- What can I be grateful for in my life?
- Who do I love?
- Who loves me?
If you are having a “not-so-good” day, you can turn it around in the blink of an eye. Sometimes you are fearful or anxious about something, but it can be changed almost instantaneously. It’s important to remember that it’s not possible to feel fear and gratitude at the same time, and that fear disappears the moment you feel gratitude.
You can instantly change your state with simple breathing exercises. Whether you want to get grounded, centered, and reconnect with a state of calm; or clear your mind; get focused; get energized, you can do a simple breathing exercise that anyone can do, no matter where you are.
There are so many different variations of breathing exercises, for any case scenario, that you can find on the internet. Just type in on Google: “Breathing exercises” + desired state that you want to achieve. Here is one such example:
As many benefits as laughter has, it may be just the best medicine on the market today. It would take a long time to discuss the numerous benefits, so I will not be listing them here. But what I will mention, is that you can instantly change your state of mind when you are laughing.
You might say that when you are upset, the last thing you want to do is laugh. And I understand this. But what you can do in this state is smile with a big grin, even if you don’t feel like it. Your mind doesn’t care if something is funny or not, your brain gets a signal to release “happy hormones” when you start smiling.
So, even if you don’t feel like it – Keep smiling! There is always a reason to smile, you just have to find it!
